Safeguarding at Shamblehurst

At Shamblehurst Primary School, the health, safety and well-being of every child is our prime concern. We take time to listen to our pupils and what they have to say, including the little things.

All of our staff working or volunteering here at Shamblehurst are expected to share a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and are to report any concerns in accordance with our Child Protection and Safeguarding policies.

We work in partnership with families and it is important that you share with us any information you have, which may support us in helping your child to be happy and reach their full potential. There is a range of Early Help schemes available to families locally, and we are always happy to discuss with you what we can do and put in place to help support you and your family. On a rare occasion, our concern about a child may mean that we have to consult other agencies, even before we contact you.

If you have any safeguarding worries, queries or concerns, please contact the school directly and ask for a member of the safeguarding team.
